This Privacy Policy explains how FastDDNS.net (“Service”) collects, uses, stores, and protects your data when you use our dynamic DNS (DDNS) service and website.

We collect only what is necessary to operate DDNS, we log activity for security, we show ads via Google AdMob in our mobile app, we do not sell your data, and you can request deletion at any time.


1. Overview

FastDDNS provides infrastructure-level dynamic DNS services. This policy applies to all users of the website, mobile apps, and service.

We comply with applicable privacy laws, including GDPR, CCPA, and similar regulations.

We may update this policy at any time. Continued use means you accept the latest version.


2. Data We Collect

2.1 Account & Login Data

When you sign in via OAuth providers (such as Google or GitHub), we may collect:

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Username
  • Profile image

2.2 DDNS Service Data

To operate the service, we collect:

  • Your IP address
  • Target IP address for DNS updates
  • Email address
  • Access tokens (for API authentication)

2.3 Automatically Collected Data

  • Device and browser information
  • IP address
  • Language and region
  • Pages visited and session duration

2.4 Mobile App Data

Our mobile apps (iOS and Android) may collect:

  • Device identifiers (IDFA on iOS, Advertising ID on Android)
  • Push notification tokens (FCM/APNs) for alert delivery
  • Crash reports and performance metrics (via Firebase Crashlytics)
  • App usage analytics (via Firebase Analytics)

2.5 Cookies & Tracking

We use cookies to maintain sessions, improve performance, and analyze traffic.

Disabling cookies may affect functionality.

4. Data Sharing

4.1 Service Providers

We may share data with trusted providers for hosting, analytics, push notifications, and security, including:

  • Google Firebase — analytics, crash reporting, push notifications (FCM)
  • Apple Push Notification Service (APNs) — iOS push delivery
  • Google AdMob — advertising in mobile apps (see Section 5)
  • Hosting providers — Hetzner, Vultr

We may disclose data if required by law or to prevent fraud or abuse.

5. Advertising (Google AdMob)

Our mobile apps display advertisements served by Google AdMob, a service provided by Google LLC.

5.1 Data Collected by AdMob

AdMob and its partners may collect and process the following data to deliver and measure ads:

  • Advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS, Advertising ID on Android)
  • IP address and approximate location derived from it
  • Device information (model, OS version, language)
  • Ad interactions (impressions, clicks, conversions)

5.2 Personalized Ads & Your Choices

On iOS, we request your permission via Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework before tracking you for personalized advertising. You can:

  • iOS: deny tracking in the ATT prompt, or later via Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking
  • Android: reset or delete your Advertising ID via Settings → Google → Ads

If you deny tracking, you will still see ads, but they will be non-personalized.

6. Security & Infrastructure

  • Encrypted storage (at rest)
  • Secure connections (SSL/TLS)
  • Role-based access control (MFA)
  • Network isolation (VPC)

We maintain logs containing IP addresses, email addresses, browsers, and referrers for security purposes.


7. Data Retention

  • Logs retained up to 90 days
  • Account data is retained up to 1 year after inactivity
  • Advertising identifiers processed by AdMob follow Google's retention policies
  • Data deleted periodically unless required by law

  • Opt out of personalized advertising (see Section 5.2)
  • Opt out of analytics by disabling Firebase Analytics in the app settings

Deleting your account will remove your personal data.

You can turn off cookies in your browser, but this may affect the service.

If a breach occurs, we will notify affected users and authorities as required by law.


11. International Data Transfer

12. Children's Privacy

FastDDNS is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in the EU). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. AdMob ads served in our apps are configured to comply with child-safety requirements.

14. Abuse & Security Monitoring

We monitor usage to detect abuse, fraud, and security threats. Violations may result in suspension or termination.
